The countdown to Accra’s biggest poetry event is on! The Ehalakasa National Grand Slam 2024 Final Prelims is happening this Saturday, 30th November 2024, at the Goethe-Institut Library, Cantonments.

Starting at 5:00 PM, the event promises an evening of spoken word brilliance and storytelling, featuring some of the most talented poets in Ghana – including the phenomenal BeYunus.

A graduate of Jayee University College in French and Journalism, BeYunus is a master of words, weaving language and emotion into performances that leave lasting impressions. With experience writing for Ghanaian Times and The Spectator, his creative journey extends beyond poetry to professional journalism and storytelling. A proud member of the Ghana Association of Writers (GAW), BeYunus continues to inspire audiences with his unique ability to “play with words on paper.”
