This Saturday, 30th November 2024, the Ehalakasa National Grand Slam 2024 Final Prelims will showcase some of the most exciting voices in spoken word and poetry, including the exceptional P.L.A.N.S (Princess Lawrencia Ibizugbe).
Princess began her literary journey at just 13, using poetry, playwriting, and storytelling to explore and address pressing social issues. Raised in Accra, her work draws heavily on her personal experiences and her environment, weaving narratives that inspire and challenge audiences to reflect.
Now a first-year Sociology and Linguistics student at the University of Ghana, Princess brings an academic depth to her craft that enhances her storytelling. Her dedication to addressing societal transformation through art makes her a standout performer in the slam poetry scene.
